FELTS
Most patches are constructed using 2 layers of felt: the bottom felt & top felt.
CHAIN
The stitching that outlines the chenille & binds the top felt to the bottom felt.
CHENILLE
The fluffy, carpet-like stitching adds texture & dimension to the patch.
TEXT
We embroider on top of the felt, box around the wording and chenille around that. Our competitors commonly sew directly over the top of the chenille. This results in small, hard-to-read lettering that is more costly.
